The downside to being a university administrator is that one hardly has time to do research. But the upside is that one is in the best position to enable others to do so.
That is why UP Diliman Chancellor Sergio S. Cao considers the Open Grant and Ph.D. Incentive Award two of the best projects initiated by his administration. The projects provide the University’s faculty members and researchers adequate financial support to conduct multidisciplinary research.
